Me Villeneuve is a member of the Quebec Bar since 2010. He has been practicing mainly in criminal and penal law since the beginning of his career, having handled several high-profile cases in this area of the law.
He has had the opportunity to plead before Quebec courts of all jurisdiction, as well as the Superior Court of Quebec, the Court of Appeal of Quebec, the Supreme Court of Canada and has pleaded on numerous occasions before the provincial court of Ontario.
In addition, he has specialized for several years in the defense and representation of police officers in criminal, civil, administrative and disciplinary matters.
In fact, he has successfully acquitted police chiefs facing various criminal accusations and while having their dismissals declared illegal by the Court of Quebec, thereby allowing them to be re-instated in their positions in addition to obtaining damages in compensation for prejudices suffered and damage to the reputation.
Me Villeneuve stands out for his passion for criminal law and pleading which has led him to vigorously and successfully defend the rights and interests of his clients up to the Court of Appeal of Quebec and the Supreme Court of Canada.
